Driven by the ambition to become a leader in the production and distribution of wood chips in Serbia, WOOD CHIPS d.o.o. Beograd has become the second GoodChips certified company in the Balkan country.
The company was founded in May 2018 and has established its first distribution centres in Šabac and Majdanpek. In its first two years of operations, the wood chips producer has gained several large customers, such as local municipalities.
The owner Miroslav Aleksić wishes for WOOD CHIPS d.o.o. Beograd to set a high standard for the wood chips business in the country. In his vision, the company should always seek to provide a guarantee for the quality of the products to the customers, which was the main reason to join GoodChips.
Miroslav’s future plans include opening two more distribution centres in Serbia in the next two years and concluding long-term contracts with the largest suppliers of wood chips in Serbia and the region. Being a GoodChips certified company will contribute to the realisation of these plans by providing a competitive advantage and more trading opportunities.
WOOD CHIPS d.o.o. Beograd is now certified for the production, storage, and delivery of A2 quality class of wood chips, claiming the unique GoodChips ID: RS 002.
Earlier this year, APUR Kiko-Prom was the first company in Serbia to join the certification scheme.
